“A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.” – John Lennon
Recently, in a crowded room during a routine speech about social media, a random person in the audience asked me what am I most proud of at Shoutlet? I admit, that question caught me off guard.
While the audience, media, and investors would expect me to brag about a piece of our technology, without hesitation, I replied “our people.”
I have the pleasure of working with some of the brightest people in the world.
When looking across our company, I don’t see a programmer, a marketing manager, a sales person, or a technical support specialist.
Instead, I see a dreamer, an overachiever, an innovator, a perfectionist, a visionary, and an artist.
Passionate people create great products.
Over the past couple of years, the people at Shoutlet have created the industry’s only true Software-as-a-Service, do-it-yourself social media marketing platform; built the most powerful data, segmentation, and dynamic content tool available; and have dominated the social management scene with a true enterprise class platform.
We could not have achieved all of these accomplishments without the continued support of our Shoutlet team and valued customers.
In fact, many of our customers have helped us build our dream. Several have become lifelong friends; some even investors. We couldn’t have done it without their vision and support.
If you’re not a current customer there’s never been a better time to join our family of more than 400 companies that use Shoutlet every day to power their social media campaigns.
We believe companies should be driven by innovation. As Steve Jobs once said, “we create products that are visually stunning and technologically superior.” We embrace that same belief here at Shoutlet. Focus on building a great product and the rest will come. Therefore, with Shoutlet’s Series C funding, we are going to double down on our innovation and invest heavily in our people by globally expanding our development, sales, marketing, and support teams.
If you are looking to “make a dent in the universe” yourself, I encourage you to join us.
